"Finding Nemo Jr." Show is looking for performers ages 6 and above. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Additional info: Please prepare a 32-bar (1-minute) cut of a song in the style or theme of the show. This may include (but is not limited to) Broadway or Disney repertoire. Please bring a device with an accompaniment or karaoke track, as no accompanist will be provided. Singing acapella is discouraged. There may be a dance component to the audition at callbacks for certain roles (bring appropriate footwear and dress to move). Actors will be doing cold readings from the script at both auditions and callbacks. Callbacks (if needed): May 22, 2024, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Rehearsals begin May 28, 2024, at FUMC Hurst, and are generally Monday through Friday from 6-9 pm and Saturdays from 10-1 pm.
