About the project: About Gen: "Genesis" is a coming-of-age scripted series that revolves around the lives of five teenagers and their individual struggles. Each of them is trying to overcome their personal demons while discovering who they are and where they fit in the world. Despite their differences and the conflicts that arise between them, they come together and find solace in each other's company during the summer. Through their experiences, they learn to confront their issues and work towards resolving them. "Genesis" is a story about friendship, self-discovery, and the importance of facing one's problems head-on. Additional info: - The Pilot Episode WILL be submitted into film festivals. - The Pilot Episode of this project is currently being pitched to streaming platforms & film festivals w/ agents. - When does shooting take place? Oliver father passed away a year ago, leaving his mother alone to look after him. Oliver doesn’t like to speak about his feelings and he suffers from PTSD as he witnessed his death.
Teenager who enjoys camping, keeping to himself and escapology. Joseph is a little hardheaded and he tends to be impatient. Joseph feels neglected after his father walked out on him four years ago. The two keep in contact momentarily but their relationship is horrible. Joseph suffers from Bipolar Depression.
Teenager who enjoys hanging out with friends, partying, and late night drives. Damon is a extrovert when he wants to be. Damon is a very conflicted person who cannot choose what he wants to do with himself. Damon doesn’t exactly follow the right path and tends to be rebellious leading to plenty of arguments with his parents whom he doesn’t already have the best relationship with. Damon Stone is very close with Autumn since they’re so similar.
Teenager with an air of mystery surrounding her. Luna is drawn to the occult and has a deep fascination with astrology, tarot cards, and the supernatural. Luna's interests in the mysterious and unknown often lead her to explore abandoned places and delve into urban legends. Despite her aloof exterior, Luna is fiercely loyal to her close friends and will go to great lengths to protect them. Luna keeps her past guarded, and her reasons for being so guarded are known only to her.
Boy is full with a youthful energy and enthusiasm that shines through in his bright eyes and easy smile. The revelation that his father had abandoned a son two years older than him has rocked his world, leaving him feeling confused and betrayed. He struggles to reconcile the image of the father he thought he knew. Despite his confusion and hurt, there is a resilience to him that speaks to a deep inner strength.
