"Schoolhouse Rock Live" Seeks Young Talent
Youth Theatre is excited to announce auditions for "Schoolhouse Rock Live"! Casting all parts with actors 18 and under. Please see the details below. Additional info: What to prepare: Auditionees should prepare a 1 minute solo of a song in the style of the show. Disney, pop, or musical theatre songs are all acceptable. You do not need to have the song memorized. Please bring either sheet music for our MD to play or a backing track (bluetooth speaker will be provided). Please pick a song that shows off your voice and you are comfortable singing. Auditions will also consist of readings from the script. Auditionees will be given time to read over the sides at auditions. Please wear comfortable clothes. Callbacks: If needed, callbacks will be held on Thursday May 9. Callbacks are by invitation only. A callback list will be sent via email. If your child is not on the callback list, that does not mean they have not been cast. That simply means we do not need them at callbacks. Materials for callbacks will be sent out with the callback list email. Audition Form: Please fill out and print an audition form and list ALL conflicts on your audition form. See the document attached. Production fee. If interested, please apply.
