Seeking Dancers for "Nutcracker 2024" Productions
Dancers are needed for "Nutcracker" productions. Please review the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Dance Company is a local non-profit youth ballet company that offers dancers ages 7-18 an opportunity to become more fully educated in the art form of dance. The company started its tradition of performing the Nutcracker in 2000. Additional info: What to wear? Ballet attire and hair pulled back from the face. What to bring? Completed audition form and ballet shoes (pointe if you have them). What will the audition include? It will start with a standard ballet class appropriate for each age group. The dancer will also showcase improvisational facial expressions and acting skills. Contracts with company-level placement will be mailed to all dancers by May 13th.
