About the project: Steph Curry’s show will begin filming in the Chicago, Illinois area. NBC / Peacock has greenlit a basketball themed show called “Mr. Throwback,” and described as a mockumentary comedy with NBA star Steph Curry and Adam Pally. NBC announced the show which is brought by “Happy Endings” creator David Caspe and writers Matthew Libman and Daniel Libman. The series is created and executive produced by David Caspe, along with the Libman brothers, Adam Pally, Steph Curry, and Unanimous Media’s Erick Peyton. Peacock’s “Mr. Throwback,” will be joining beloved mockumentaries like “The Office” and “Parks and Recreation” available on the streaming platform. In “Mr. Throwback,” a struggling memorabilia dealer seeks redemption by reconnecting with his former sixth-grade teammate, NBA legend Steph Curry. Rate: $155/8 + $25 Fitting bump (if applicable) Additional info: Filming Date: Thursday, May 9th. Fitting Date: Tuesday, May 7th or Wednesday, May 8th Filming can typically take anywhere up to/between 8-12hrs a day.
