Child Actor Needed for Short Film Casting in DE

Boys age 8-13 years old are invited to act in a short film. Please see the details below. ONLY NJ, PA, AND LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: As they approach their final moments, two people confront their impending end in deep discussions with an unlikely visitor. They explore themes of coming to terms with their fate, reflecting on regrets, and discovering the transformative impact of confronting mortality. Rate: Actors will be paid for their work. This project adheres to the SAG-AFTRA Micro Budget Project Agreement, which provides unique terms compared to typical contracts. Compensation, benefits, and other specifics will be negotiated between the Producer and the Performer. However, it's important to note that participation in this project does not count toward SAG-AFTRA membership eligibility. For additional information, please refer to the agreement. The film's characters explore the complexities of mortality, so we're seeking actors with a wide dramatic range and deep emotional capacity to authentically depict the nuanced feelings of grief, loss, and acceptance. This project addresses sensitive themes related to death and the broad spectrum of emotions it brings. Actors should be available for at least one day of work, with some roles requiring up to four days. You must be able to provide your own transportation to the set, located in the Philadelphia/New Jersey/Wilmington areas.
