"The Sound of Music" Show Seeks Kids and Teens
Auditions for the upcoming production of "THE SOUND OF MUSIC". Looking to cast boys and girls. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Will have you sign up for 15-minute individual audition slots. Please provide a photo/headshot with your audition forms when you arrive for your slot. WHAT TO PREPARE: Each character has a set audition cut* or two to prepare for the auditions from the show. Familiarize yourself with other roles than what you are auditioning for as you may be asked to sing for other roles. For a smoother audition process, bring liability and audition forms in advance. The audition forms include a space for you to list your conflicts. New conflicts will not be accepted after the first rehearsal. Tech week conflicts will not be accepted. (mezzo, moves well) A nun who is the Mistress of Postulants. She is kind and understanding. A supporter of Maria. She is positive, encouraging, concerned and has a sense of humor.
(soprano, moves well) Sister Sophia is a nun who always stays in line. She is very dutiful and kind. She would rather take the middle road to avoid controversy.
