Dance Opportunities for Kids in "Footloose" Show
Seeking boys and girls ages 16 and above for the "Footloose" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: What To Prepare: In-Person Auditions: Plan to be there for about an hour. 1. Prepare 32 bars of an audition song in the style of the show. An accompanist will NOT be provided. Bring your phone to play from a Bluetooth speaker that we will provide (acapella is not preferred). 2. There will be a dance audition, please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Callback will be In-Person (Invitation Only), Thursday, May 23rd from 6 pm-9 pm. Rehearsals begin the week of June 3rd, 2-4 a week depending on cast availability. Tech/Dress July 29th - August 1st. Performances: August 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th at 7pm & August 4th, 11th 2pm. If interested, please apply.

(Lead): Tenor. Energetic, emotional, rebellious, likeable; emotes his pain through quirky sarcasm and dance; strong dancer.
(Lead): Mezzo-Pop. Smart, a bit of the bad girl with an edge, sweet, the rebellious minister’s daughter; the role requires a strong belt, must be a strong singer/dancer.
(Supporting) Strong pop/ belting voice. Ariel’s friend; a bit scatterbrained, sweet, fun, knows everything about everything; the role requires a strong belt, strong comedic timing and dancing.
(Supporting) Tenor. A simple country boy with a warm heart a big smile; and strong comedic timing
(Supporting): Tenor. The local bad boy and Ariel’s boyfriend.
(Supporting): Mezzo/Alto. Ariel’s friend; the smart one of the group; role requires a strong belt, comedic timing, and dance.
