Audition for "Big Fish" Show. Looking to cast a boy aged 7 - 12 and a dance ensemble ( ages 13 - 17). Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, BIG FISH tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest…and then some! Edward’s incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him—most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. Overflowing with heart and humor, BIG FISH is an extraordinary musical that reminds us why we love going to the theater—for an experience that’s richer, funnier, and bigger than life itself. Rehearsals: Wednesdays 6:30-9:00 pm, Saturdays 2:00-6:00 pm, Sundays 12:00-4:00 pm in May/June Wednesdays 6:30-9:00 pm, Thursdays 6:00-9:00 pm, Sundays 12:00-4:00 pm in July/August (see rehearsal calendar on audition form) What to Prepare: Vocal sides will be posted in early April.
