Child and Teen Audition for Musical "Madagascar Jr."

Audition Notice: Child Casting for "Madagascar Jr." Musical. Details are provided below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, June 8th starting at 1:00 p.m. Show dates: Thursday, September 19th at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 20th at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21st at 2:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. Rehearsals: Rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Starting the week of September 4th we will add Wednesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (The schedule is subject to change and you may not be called to every rehearsal. However, these days should remain open or listed on your audition form under conflicts) July: 29th, 30th August: 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 27th, 29th, 31st September: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th. Tech Rehearsals: Monday September 16th – Wednesday September 18th Tech rehearsals are from 5:30 p.m. until finished. No absences are allowed the two weeks before tech week. All tech rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances are mandatory for cast members. Too many conflicts or the timing of conflicts could keep you from being cast. Please prepare 16 bars (30 seconds) of any musical theater song. The auditioner is responsible for having their song downloaded on their own device. This should be an mp3 karaoke track with NO VOCALS on it. *No sheet music, flash drives, or CDs. *No wifi available. Please do not try to stream from your phone as service is unpredictable. Make sure the song is downloaded. *Accepted devices include iPads, iPods, iPhones, android phones, tablets *The directors will have the available adaptors for your devices: Apple lightning adapter, Aux Cord, & USB-C Please see the attachment for details.
