About the project: "The SpongeBob Musical" When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world! "A Year with Frog & Toad" Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe… all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons. Performances are typically Friday (7:30 pm), Saturday (2 pm & 7:30 pm) & Sunday (2 pm) with student matinees (10:30 am) during the week (Tuesday – Friday) as scheduled. *Dates & times are subject to change, with a full rehearsal/performance schedule to be shared at callbacks.* "A Year with Frog & Toad" First Rehearsal: 11/5/2024 (No rehearsal on 11/28 & 11/29 in observance of Thanksgiving) Previews: 11/30/2024 @ 10:30am & 2pm Opening: 12/1/2024 @ 2:00pm Closing: 12/15/2024 @ 2:00pm Possible Extension: 12/17/2024 – 12/22/2024 Rehearsals are typically Tuesday – Friday, evenings & Saturday, and Sunday during the day. Performances are typically Friday (7:30 pm), Saturday (2 pm & 7:30 pm) & Sunday (2 pm) with student matinees (10:30 am) during the week (Tuesday – Friday) as scheduled. Please prepare no more than 32 bars of appropriate musical material of your choosing, which may be material from The SpongeBob Musical. An accompanist will be provided.
