About the project: The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by the curtain's fall. Additional info: Cast announcement: Script pick up where they will accept their roles will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, any time between 6-8 pm. Audition prep: teens need to prepare 16 bars of a song that best showcases their style and range. Please bring a karaoke track on a device or be prepared to sing acapella. In general, rehearsals are held Sundays – Thursdays from 6 to 9 pm. If interested, please apply.
