Children Theatre Casting Call for "Fiddler on the Roof"

Searching for child performers ages 8 and above for "Fiddler on the Roof" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill in them traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality, and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy, and sadness. Additional info: Auditions will consist of vocals and choreography followed by a round of callbacks that will include cold readings from the script as well as some additional vocals. Auditioners do not need to prepare anything. All materials will be taught at auditions. Please bring a list of all potential conflicts from May 20th to August 4th. Performances will be held July 26th & 27th and August 2nd, 3rd, &4th at the Bristol Opera House. No fees are charged for participation in the production. If interested, please apply.
