Teen Singing Audition for "Mamma Mia" Play

Auditions for teenage singers ages 16+ for the play "Mamma Mia" are being held. Please review the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. The story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. A large cast, non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make Mamma Mia! a guaranteed smash hit for any theatre. A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget! Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Performances: Friday, July 26th at 7 pm Saturday, July 27th at 2 pm and 7 pm Sunday, July 28th at 2 pm Please prepare 16-32 bars (approx. 1 minute) of a musical theater or pop song in the style of Mamma Mia. Auditioners should bring recorded accompaniment, a speaker and hook ups will be provided. You may also sing the selected piece (in the attachments) and accompaniment will be provided. There will be a dance element of the audition so please wear or bring clothes and shoes you can move easily in. You can find the dance combo (in the attachments).
