Teen Talent Auditions for "Wysteria" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Directors are currently casting performers ages 12-16 for "Wysteria" play. More details are below. Additional information: Callbacks are on April 25th 2024. Rehearsals begin in May and will be 2-3 times a week in Montreal. Travel to Edmonton the week of August 5th (accommodations in Edmonton will be provided). The show runs August 15th-25th (with the possibility of performing every day). Please be familiar with the side for the character you choose to audition for. You DO NOT need to be memorized. Please prepare a short monologue of your choosing. If you're interested, please apply.

Can play 14-17 years old. Nyssa is Milo's older sister and girlfriend to Leksa. Along with her brother she grew up in foster care, in contrast to her brother, Nyssa tends to approach the world with a pessimistic attitude, that is unless she is with Leksa, who brings out the light in herself. Nyssa is (not so secretly) a hopeless romantic.
Can play 14-17 years old. Leksa is Nyssa’s girlfriend. She grew up in a well off family but makes sure she doesn't take her privilege for granted. She never fails to notice the tiny beauties of the world, and is holding onto her childlike innocence for as long as she can.
Can play 12-16 years old. Younger brother to Nyssa, rambunctious and enjoys taunting his sister whenever he can. Milo also shows a deep understanding for the dark side of the world, yet he doesn't let that affect his optimistic point of view.
