About the project:
When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys' expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger and united and create a movement to fight for what's right.
Additional info:
Parents will be asked to check in their children at 5 pm.
Directors will have some chairs in the lobby for parents who want to wait, auditions will be closed to ensure the best audition from each kid.
No preparation is needed. If you want a singing part, come with a song you want to sing, scenes will be done as a cold read and some basic dance steps will be taught to see where the actors are at as far as dance skills.
Performance dates: July 11th through July 13th.
