Searching for performers ages 6-18 years old for the "Descendants" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In present-day Auradon, Ben, the benevolent teenage son of King Adam and Queen Belle, offers a chance of redemption for the trouble-making offspring of Disney's classic villains: Cruella De Vil, Maleficent, the Evil Queen, and Jafar. Rate: Non-Paid. Additional info: Non-Union. Prepare: - Resume, if applicable - Photo / Headshot - 30 seconds of the song in the style of the show - accompanist and USB speakers both available. - List of Conflicts from June 1st through August 11th (no tech week or show conflicts will be accepted). - There will be a short dance portion, so please dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes. - Script sides will be provided. Callbacks, if needed, Tuesday, May 14th 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Rehearsals: (not all called at each) Saturday mornings, Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday evenings Tech Week: Saturday, July 27th - August 1st Shows: August 2nd - 11th Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm / Sundays at 3 pm. The infamous evil fairy. She is a profoundly selfish absentee parent with an unquenchable taste for vengeance. Vocal range: D5 – A3
Snow White’s wicked adversary. An aging beauty queen, she is still desperate to be the fairest of them all. Vocal range: Varies
Aladdin’s nemesis. He is a slimy, washed-up crime lord desperate for a way back to the top. Character Gender: male. Vocal range: E4 – B2
A Dalmatian-loving dog-snatcher. She is an obsessive, eccentric, and overbearing helicopter mom. Vocal range: B4 – B3
Son of the Beast and Belle. He is a classically regal, optimistic kid who bears the weight of soon becoming King of Auradon. Vocal range: Bb4 – Ab2
Ben’s father and King of Auradon. Royal and rule-driven, he knows a bit about being marginalized. Vocal range: Varies
Ben’s mother and Queen of Auradon. Warm, but cautious, she doesn’t understand her son’s generation. Vocal range: Varies
Headmistress of Auradon Prep. Busy and bubbly, she’ll do anything to keep the school afloat. Vocal range: D5 – D4
Fairy Godmother’s daughter. Meek and mousy, but hungry for attention, she’s looking for her moment to shine. Vocal range: D5 – E4
Cinderella and Prince Charming’s son. An arrogant and spoiled blockhead, he’s never wanted for anything. Vocal range: D4 – B2
Sleeping Beauty’s daughter. The malicious queen bee of Auradon Prep, she has her eye on the throne. Vocal range: B4 – A3
Dopey’s son. Nerdy and sweet, he does all the work that his fellow students don’t want to do. Vocal range: E4 – C4
