Young Talent Wanted for "Music Man" Show

Seeking kids ages 8-12 years old for the "Music Man" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: “The Music Man” follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by the curtain's fall. Additional info: Actors should prepare 16 bars of a contemporary Broadway musical to sing for their audition. Actors should not audition with a song from “The Music Man.” All actors will be asked to participate in a brief movement audition. Rehearsals are in the evenings and on weekends as schedules permit.
