Rate: Pay Scale: $500 stipend About the project: Summary: A young family welcomes a bundle of joy, but its excitement is short-lived when their new addition seems unceasingly happy. As the parents confer with societal experts on what to do with this child, the real world continues unabated. Is happiness so elusive in our contemporary world that we have come to mistrust and even fear it? Additional info: Please bring a headshot and resume with you. Auditions will begin at 2 p.m. and will consist of cold readings of sides taken from the show’s script. Rehearsals: July 29 - August 1, 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. August 5 - 8. 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. August 12 - 15, 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. August 19 - 21 (Tech), 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. Performances: August 22 - 24 at 7 p.m.; August 25 at 2 p.m. If interested, please apply.
