Kid Actors Needed for "Shrek Jr." Show
Seeking performers ages 7-18 years old for the "Shrek Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task -if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. Additional info: Each participant will need to prepare a song no longer than 2 minutes and a short script. A script can be chosen from the list provided or of their own choosing. If a child does not wish to sing or read they must understand that they may not be considered for a speaking or solo role.
