Dance Opportunities for Kids in "Aladdin Jr." Show

Boys and girls ages 6-18 years old are invited to audition for the "Aladdin Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within. The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. With expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills, this new adaptation of the beloved story will open up “a whole new world” for your young performers! Additional info: Seeking singers, dancers, and actors of all performance backgrounds! Please be on time! Be prepared to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your selected time. All under 18 MUST have a parent or guardian with them at all times in the waiting room. Come prepared with ONE SONG in the style of the show. Songs should be about one minute long and showcase your voice and acting skills. Songs do not need to be memorized but it is preferred. Songs will be sung a cappella unless you email a karaoke track. Bring a recent HEADSHOT/SCHOOL PHOTO. Bring a RESUME if you have one. Wear JAZZ SHOES if you have them and clothes you can move in. There will be a brief dance call at auditions Rehearsals take place on Monday & Friday evenings. Note that the Performance fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.
