About the project: Synopsis: A 50-year-old Army major, Kim Johnson, and her 13-year-old non-binary child, Ace, embark on a journey to a prestigious music audition in Washington DC. As miscommunications derail their plans, Kim's unwavering determination to support Ace and confront biases propels them forward. "The Audition" is a celebration of resilience, acceptance, and the enduring bond between parent and child.
