Exploring the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. Memorable musical numbers include "What I Did for Love, "One," "I Can Do That," "At the Ballet," "The Music and the Mirror," and "I Hope I Get It." (2) - Range: G3-C#5 (opt. F#5). Alto. Streetwise, a little bit tough, eternal optimist and starry eyed. A determined athletic dancer from the Bronx.
(23) - Range: G#3-C#5 (opt. E5). Mezzo. Funny, gawky, nervous, scatterbrain. Warm and hopeful. Very awkward except when dancing.

Range: F#3-C#5. Alto. From Boston. Very insecure about her looks, very funny which is a cover for her insecurities. Feels a little bit excluded but just wants to be liked.
