"Arcadia" Teen Audition for the Theater
Theater auditions for "Arcadia" are open to high school students and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACEPTED. About the project: “Arcadia,” written in 1993, is a comedic drama that explores the relationship between the past and present. It takes place on an English estate in two distinct eras, 1809-12 and the present. Additional info: Candidates should prepare a contemporary monologue, no longer than 2 minutes, of their choice. Alternatively, they may come without preparation and read a monologue from the show that will be provided. Callbacks will involve reading scenes from the script. When applying please include their ages and whether a specific role interests them. People unable to attend the scheduled auditions should e-mail the theater to arrange for an alternative audition time.
