About the project: According to online information about the film, filming will take place in the Mississippi Delta, and some historic plantation residences along Laurel Valley Road and the Albemarle Plantation on LA 308, as well as the Whitney Plantation in Vacherie. The film is scheduled for release in the summer of 2025. Additionally, according to a casting call announcement, filming will extend to Orleans, St. Tammany, Washington, Tangipahoa, Plaquemines, and Ascension parishes.
