About the project: Written by acclaimed playwright Tracy Letts and recipient of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Play and winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, August: Osage County follows the Weston family as they unexpectedly converge on their Oklahoman family homestead after their patriarch goes missing. A maelstrom of repressed truths and unsettling secrets explode in a play that unflinchingly – and uproariously – explores the dark side of this Midwestern American family.
