Production of "Gerd and the Goose Girl" Seeks Teenagers
2024 Audition for "Gerd and the Goose Girl". Looking for performers ages 15 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACEPTED. Additional info: Please have the following prepared for auditions: A headshot to upload (a photo taken from a phone is fine). Your theater resume uploading (optional but preferred). Your conflicts are for April 12th and between May 6 – July 13, 2024. Audition Preparation: A) 30-second dramatic monologue. B) 16-32 bars of a musical theater-style song that shows off your vocal range. Please sing to a Karaoke Track and not a capella. Examples of songs that highlight the ranges we are looking for are provided on the form. Virtual Auditions are also accepted for those who cannot attend in person. Please provide the link to your audition video at the end of this form. Virtual auditions are due April 1st at 11:59 pm. Callbacks are on Saturday, April 6th at 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM. The German Goose Boy. A youthful kitchen boy who is a little klutzy in his growing body. He’s playful and fun, something not everyone always appreciates.
Clemencia’s handmaid. Dreaming about becoming a princess with all its little and no-so-little luxuries is nothing compared to realizing it could be hers for the taking. Wanting more while being a lesser person ends up being the wrong formula for having her fantasies actualize, but the perfect way to end up with the geese and its accompanying goose boy.
