Casting Teen Performers in Stage Production

Saint Louis, MO, United States
ID: 567258Exp: 4/28/2024
Description:

Audition for "Ride the Cyclone". Looking to cast teenagers ages 14+. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACEPTED. About the project: In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they wake up in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This increasingly popular cult musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived! Additional info: Please prepare a 1 to 2 minute monologue and 32 bars of a memorized musical song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be available. Please provide your sheet music in the correct key. Directors encourage you to arrive 10 minutes before your time slot to fill out the audition form, conflict calendar, and consent form. If you already have a headshot, bring it along, but no worries if you don’t! ALL levels of experience are welcome to audition. If interested, please apply.
