Audition for teenagers ages 12+ for High School Musical On Stage! Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACEPTED. About the project: It’s the first day after winter break at East High, and the Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians, and Skater Dudes are back in action. Join us as we follow Troy, the basketball team captain, who discovers a whole new world when he meets Gabriella, a brainy girl he encountered singing karaoke on his ski trip. Together, they decide to audition for the high school musical, causing a stir among their classmates. Will their alliance break the “status quo” and open the door for others to shine? Additional info: What to expect & bring The dance call will begin at 6 PM Wear comfortable clothes to move in & sneakers or jazz shoes Water bottle Vocal auditions will begin at 7 PM Vocal selection: 32 bars or 1 ½ minutes (sheet music or track) All scheduling conflicts through June Callbacks will be held at MCT on Tuesday, April 16 beginning at 6 PM. Please remember if you do not receive a callback, it does not mean that you will not be cast. Directors may not need to see everyone again. All performances and strikes are required!
