Casting Teen Performers for Play "Jersey Boys"
Actors aged 16 and above are invited to audition for the "Jersey Boys" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: For your vocal audition, directors are asking you to sing from the show. Once you sign up for an audition timeslot, watch for an email with a link to a Google Drive that will have all the audition material needed. There will be a few songs to choose from for your vocal audition. Additionally, we ask that you learn the audition dance ahead of time. A set of choreography videos teaching the audition dance will also be in Google Drive. Rehearsals will begin on Monday, May 20 at the FonDuLac Park District Administration Building, 201 Veterans Drive, East Peoria. Directors anticipate rehearsing Monday through Thursday from 6:30 – 10:00 pm. There may be a few weekend rehearsals as needed, so be sure to include conflicts on ALL dates from May 20 through July 27. Tech Sunday is Sunday, July 28, and no conflicts are allowed starting on this date. Show dates: August 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10 at 7:30 pm and August 4 at 2:00 pm. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, May 19 at 6:00 pm. Directors do anticipate needing callbacks as they will want to hear potential members of all incarnations of the Four Seasons harmonize together.
