Child Singing Audition for "Willy Wonka Jr." Show
Performers ages 6 and up are invited to audition for "Willy Wonka Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: What to prepare: Ages 13-18, please be prepared with a 32-bar song cut either from the show or in the style of the character you are auditioning for. If you like to audition for a listed role, be ready to do a monologue cold read from the show. You might be asked to demonstrate some dance skills, so please wear proper footwear. Ages under 12, please be prepared to sing a short song of your choice and tell your favorite joke. If you'd like to audition for a listed role, be ready to do a monologue/cold read from the show. You might be asked to demonstrate some dance skills, so please wear proper footwear. There will be both an accompanist and a Bluetooth speaker provided so you have options. If you use a track, it must not have any melody vocals. (Background is okay.) All are encouraged to bring an acting resume, headshot, and all conflicts from April 14th to July 13th. Please do not audition if you are not able to attend all the performances. Show Dates: Thursday - Saturday, July 18, 2024, to July 20, 2024, at 7:30 pm Saturday and Sunday Matinees, July 20, 2024 and July 21, 2024 at 2:30 pm.
