Description:

"Pinder's Kids" is based on the true story of a youth pastor's nonviolent movement toward desegregation here in Orlando, Florida in the 1960s. Participants will be sharing the stories of real Jones High School students who did local peaceful protests during the Civil Rights era. All experience levels are welcome to apply. "Casting" will be determined based on group participation and performance on day 1 of programming. Please view the website link for character descriptions and a copy of the script, located within the registration page at. You may apply to any role but your role will be assigned based on need. Must be a resident of Orange County, FL to be cast.
