About the project: "The Music Man" is a classic American musical that tells the story of Harold Hill, a traveling con man who poses as a bandleader in order to swindle the people of River City, Iowa. However, Hill soon finds himself falling in love with Marian Paroo, the town librarian and begins to have second thoughts about his scheme. With the help of Marian and the townspeople, Hill learns the true meaning of community and music. "The Music Man" is a heartwarming and funny musical that features some of the most memorable songs in theater history, including “76 Trombones,” “Ya Got Trouble,” and “Till There Was You.” It is a show that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired. A teenager who has a crush on Zaneeta. Wants to do the right thing but is shunned by all because he comes from the “other” side of town so he is considered the “bad” boy in town. Harold befriends him, makes him useful and gives Tommy self-confidence and trust.
