About the project:
A “revue” is a show made up of various songs and dances. The biggest difference between a revue and a traditional musical is that revues may not have overarching plots, unlike a traditional musical where the songs are designed to move the plot forward. Also, a revue may pull from many different musical theatre composers and shows. This review is a sampling of different songs from the Broadway Junior® collection chosen specifically to give your cast members the biggest and best opportunities to shine. Pure Imagination is a brand-new revue featuring songs from across Music Theatre International's Broadway Junior collection. From Broadway Junior musicals based on adored titles like Seussical and Shrek The Musical to Disney favorites like Beauty and the Beast and Frozen, Pure Imagination offers a fun introduction to musical revues for young performers.

Those auditioning only need to attend one of the two days for auditions. Tryouts will include a reading, singing, and dancing audition. NO preparation is required; all materials will be provided for those auditioning at the auditions. Songs and short dance routines will be taught to auditionees at the auditions. Those auditioning will find out what part they have been cast in after auditions at the read-through.
There is no fee to participate!
Rehearsals will take place during March and April, culminating in a four-day stage production of this fun and energetic show!
Performances will be on Thursday, April 18, Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20 at 6:30 P.M. and Sunday, April 21 at 2:00 P.M.
