About the project: In this rock musical, the year is 1972. The place is Pittsburgh, where legendary baseball player Roberto Clemente is at the top of his game. Sam Kowalski and the neighborhood baseball-playing kids are in an intense competition to win the chance to meet Clemente in person. But when their hero helps natural disaster victims in Nicaragua, his fateful off-field actions teach the kids about what is more important than winning. Rate: Provide snacks and drinks for your break in between performances. Additional info: Actors only need to attend one of the nights to audition. Callbacks: Wednesday, February 28, 7:00pm-10:00pm Cast List: Posted on RLT’s website by February 29 at 5:00pm Rehearsals: Mondays – Fridays 7-10pm, Saturdays 10am-1pm from March 4 – April 26 Tech rehearsals: April 27 – May 3 Performances: May 4 – 12, 2024 School Day Performances: Wednesday, May 8, shows at 10 am and 12:30 pm Actors must be at theatre at 9:00am. Actors must be able to take off from work/school. Actors should be free by 2:00pm. Students need to check this date to verify that they do not conflict with school commitments.
