Set in the bustling 1950s NYC Manhattan streets with a collage of colorful people and showstopping musical numbers, Frank Loesser’s memorable tunes include “Adelaide’s Lament,” “Luck Be a Lady,” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat.” Guys and Dolls is a 2-hour musical in the classical style of Musical Theatre. Ensemble features include singing and dancing showgirls in “Take Back Your Mink” and “A Bushel and a Peck” (tap dance), and the athletic gambler’s ballet in the sewers of Manhattan.
