Young Talent Wanted for "Firebringer" Show
Audition for boys and girls ages 16+ for "Firebringer" Show. About the project: Firebringer: At the dawn of humanity, one tribe of cave people survives the many trials of prehistoric life under the wise leadership of Jemilla, the Peacemaker. Jemilla taught her people to express themselves, rather than bashing each other's heads with rocks and eating each other's babies. But one member of the tribe doesn't seem to fit in Zazzalil. She's always trying to invent things to make life easier… for herself. While out hatching her latest scheme, Zazzalil stumbles upon the most important discovery in history. One that will pit her tribe against wooly mammoths, and saber-toothed tigers, and change the world forever. She'll travel from omega to alpha, and become… the Firebringer! Additional info: Note: you must be 16+ to audition, anyone under 18 will need parent or guardian permission to participate. All roles are open. Come prepared for cold reads from the script and a dance audition. Also, come prepared to sing a song of your choice from the musical. If interested, please apply.

[Vocal Range: F3-D5] - The leader of the tribe. Charismatic, Confident, protective, and motherly, but a little arrogant and stuck in past ways.
[Vocal Range: G3-D5] - One of the tribe's gatherers. A Creative and innovative, but lazy inventor. Revolutionary thinker, but doesn’t always consider the consequences of their actions.
[Vocal Range: A3-C5] - The tribe's head gatherer. Ignorant but kind and empathetic. Zazzalil’s supportive Best Friend.
[Vocal Range: n/a, all Spoken] - The tribe’s former leader who has passed on the role to Jemilla, and is now walking the Earth while serving as our comic narrator.
[Vocal Range: G3-D5] - The tribe taste tester. Analytical, cautious but curious to learn or experience new things.
[Vocal Range: C3-F4] - An Outsider to the tribe. Timid and sensitive, wants to feel included and tries hard to do so despite failures.
[Vocal Range: A3-D5] - A member of the tribe. A comedian who seems to enjoy the attention from making tribemates happy.
[Vocal Range: A2-F4] - The religious leader of the tribe. Uses position in the tribe for their own gain. Self-serving and opportunistic.
[Vocal Range: B3-D5] - The hard worker of the tribe. Loyal and dedicated to the tribe and their task, a hopeless romantic.
[Vocal Range: A2-F4] - The “dude” of the tribe. Not so bright. When it comes to bravery, all bark and no bite.
(Non-Binary/Genderqueer) [G3-E5] - The odd one of the tribe. Their vocabulary is seemingly limited. They do attempt to communicate to the tribe despite this to a varying degree of success.
