Performers aged 14-18 years old are invited to audition for the spring musical, "Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition" is the story of Veronica Sawyer: a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: The Heathers. Before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously handsome new kid, J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather's aerobicized butt... but J.D. has another plan for that bullet. Additional info: Each auditionee needs to prepare at least one character song from the list attached. Parents/Guardians will need to come inside to fill out paperwork before auditions can begin but are free to leave once all is filled out Note: There will be a fee applied due for your student to receive their script after their audition. Directors will give everyone a chance to perform their character song(s) before moving on to cold reads for each character. Rehearsals start February 4th. Shows: May 3rd, 4th, 5th.
