Actor/Voice Actor for Book Series Needed
Talent will be hired to read selected scenes for particular characters to create a video book concept reel. Depending on the character, one can earn up to $5,000. The talent will read directly from the book to the camera. Talent supplies camera, cell phones are fine. Photos, illustrations, video and special F/X will be placed over the reader periodically. The talent will read their assigned scenes twice. 1st time they're wearing normal outfits and sitting in a warm inviting place like a living room, front porch, etc. The 2nd reading, the talent will wear an outfit similar to the character's outfit in that particular scene in the same type of setting. Green screen is allowed. The demo reel will be used to find sponsors and talent for other characters. The demo reels won't be a finished product. Will try to match the talent's age, looks, etc. to that of the character they will be reading for. It will be requested that the talent appear on a live social media event in Feb. 2024.

Asher is the protagonist. He is tall and lanky, blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a baby face type look. He is quiet and is experiencing a lot of new things in such a small amount of time. See the synopsis for more info. In addition to reading scenes from the book, the talent will be required to film some b-roll running in the woods. The compensation flat rate for this character is $5,000.
Xiao lives by the letter of the law, regardless if the law is morally right or not. She is always focused on academics and never smiles or do anything that others would see as in having fun. The compensation flat rate for this character is $1,000.
