Kids & Teens Wanted for "The Lion King JR." Musical

Children and teenagers are sought for the musical "The Lion King JR." Please refer to the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Callbacks: Monday, 12/18 Contracts: Due by Friday, January 5th, 2024 Weekly Rehearsals: Mondays 4:30-6:30 p.m. starting January 8, 2024. If you are chosen as a lead, the directors will have 4 main cast rehearsals on Saturdays from 1:00-3:30 p.m. Dress Rehearsals & Performances: April 22-27- Reserve the whole week for rehearsals and shows! - Be prepared to sing 16 bars or 30 seconds of a song that showcases your vocal range. Select a song from a musical or Disney movie (not Singing in the Rain), that will showcase your acting skills and vocal ability. Bring your own audio track with the music on it. The directors will have a stereo with an AUX cord. If you want to connect to wifi, please inquire at the front desk when you arrive. - Prepare one monologue (listed below) to memorize/read at your audition (be prepared to read any of the monologues). - Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your audition time. - No parents or family members are allowed in the audition room. - Have your music unlocked and cued as you walk into the audition room. - No vocals on your audition track.
