About the project: Hilarious, heartbreaking, and utterly unique, Falsettos is a contemporary musical about family, relationships, bar mitzvahs, baseball, and AIDS. When Marvin leaves his wife Trina and son Jason to be with his lover Whizzer, tempers flare, problems escalate and everyone learns to grow up. Rate: $50 per performance, stipend provided for the rehearsal period. Additional info: Wednesday, December 6 – Invited callbacks. Local, Non-Equity performers for various roles in the upcoming 2024 production of FALSETTOS. Non-equity out-of-town actors with local housing and transportation options are welcome to audition. Prepare 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song in the style of the show. Bring sheet music. An accompanist is provided but may not transpose. You may be asked to sing another selection or from the score. Please bring 1 copy of your picture/resume stapled together.
