Teens Required for "Alice by Heart" Musical

The directors are in need of teenagers for the musical "Alice by Heart." Please refer to the details below for more information. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer’s budding teen life is turned upside down, and she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland. As they travel through the tale, Alice by Heart explores the poignancy of first love, coming to terms with loss, and finding the courage to move forward. This world-premiere musical encourages all to celebrate the transformational power of the imagination, even in the harshest of times. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Show: May 23-25, 2024 @ 7:30 pm, May 25-26 @ 2 pm. Callbacks December 11th. Auditions should prepare a 1-minute cut of a song that shows off their vocal ability. Bring a headshot and resume, especially if this is your first time auditioning for. Be prepared to learn and perform a short dance audition. Recommended for students in 9th through 12th (first-year college students will also be considered as long as they are still a teenager). If you are interested please apply.
