About the project: CECILIA is a historical drama set in 1856 in the greater Los Angeles basin, following the story of Cecilia, a Tongva woman working at a Mexican rancho. Cecilia must take defensive action to protect her daughter against a squatter when the rancher's wife leaves to uphold their land grant. Rate: $125/day, a digital copy of the film, meals, gas reimbursement, and credit. Additional info: LOCATION: Orange County and Los Angeles, CA (Must work Local Hire). SHOOT DATES: January 12, 13, 14 and 16, 17, 18, 2024. UNION STATUS: Non-Union. *SEEKING:* Hispanic Indigenous and Mexican actors.
