"It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" seeks kids ages 5-12 years old. Please see the details below. About the project: This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life on one fateful Christmas Eve. Additional info: Auditions will consist of a cold read from the script, an improv activity, and a one to three-minute monologue but the monologue is not required. A copy of your resume and headshot is preferred but not necessary to audition. Bring all scheduling conflicts for the months of September, October, and November.Rehearsals. Rehearsals: Rehearsals will be held on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Performances: Performances of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play will be held on November 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19, 2023. Friday and Saturday performances start at 7:30 PM and Sunday performances start at 2:00 PM. Callbacks, if needed, will be on September 26, 2023.
