Casting Actors for Video Book

Before each scene in E.J. Dales book Forbidden Shadows, there is a symbol telling the reader who's point of view, they will see in that particular scene. Talent will be hired to read selected scenes for particular characters to create a video book demo reel. The talent will read directly from the book to the camera. Talent supplies camera, cell phones are fine. Photos, illustrations, video and special F/X will be placed over the reader periodically. The talent will read their assigned scenes twice. 1st time they're wearing normal outfits and sitting in a warm inviting place like a living room, front porch, etc. The 2nd reading, the talent will wear an outfit similar to the character's outfit in that particular scene in the same type of setting. Green screen is allowed. The demo reel will be used to find sponsors and talent for other characters. The demo reels won't be a finished product. Will try to match the talent's age, looks, etc. to that of the character they will be reading for. This is a paying gig. Compensation rate is $750 flat rate for about 1 -2 days of shooting. The location is wherever the talent is at. You will have to shoot a self-tape audition tape. The goal is to have all the shooting done by Dec. 31, 2023.
