Casting Teens for Upcoming Events in DC

Casting is underway for upcoming events, and we are specifically looking for teenagers. Please refer to the details below for more information. ONLY MD, VA, AND LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Performers are compensated with competitive pay and have the opportunity to receive tips. Additional info: The directors are seeking actors of ALL ethnicities who possess outgoing personalities to bring fairy tale characters to life at parties, events, meet & greets, and more in Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. Most of events occur on weekends or in the evenings, so having weekend availability is highly encouraged. However, the directors understand that schedules can vary, and the directors are flexible. Character Performers chosen for this role will receive exclusive training to master character mannerisms, voice, and movement. The directors provide everything you need to create enchantments, including costumes, wigs, shoes, accessories, supplies, makeup, and undergarments. Character appearances at parties typically range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, while event appearances may differ. Requirements: Acting or theatre experience is required. Proficiency in vocals is essential. Experience in improv, dance, or movement is a plus. No visible tattoos or piercings (removable piercings are acceptable if they are not ear piercings). Resemblance to fairytale character(s) - costumes are adjustable to fit sizes 0-10. Enjoyment and experience working with children. Weekend availability. Access to reliable transportation.
