Seeking Boys & Girls for "Snap the Whip"

"Snap the Whip" show is looking for youth in grades kindergarten through eighth. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Winslow Homer painting inspired playwrights and directors Kandy Cleland and Jodine Pilmer to create a story of 1850s Ohio when children playfully scattered across a meadow in the summer heat, gathered apples during the fall harvest, battled winter storms and sickness, and rejoiced in a spring thaw. Additional info: Memorize ONE line from the line readings attached to share at auditions. Also, come prepared to sing a short musical selection. The friendly and encouraging staff is looking for POTENTIAL, not perfection. Rehearsals will begin immediately and will include weekends. The full cast will rehearse approximately 2 hours/ 2 times per week. Small ensembles will rehearse once a week. Everyone is expected to memorize lines and lyrics quickly.
