"Ford" Commercial Looking For Tall Kid

About the project: This ongoing campaign has had a lot of success playing off of the subtle relationships between friends and family. The main character Chris provides a great straight man to the more eccentric/ preoccupied/ self-absorbed people around him. The exchanges between the characters should be interesting, nuanced and believable, humorous to the viewer without becoming slapstick or too big. This fun little spot is about the Daughter’s flirtatious interaction with her very tall friend, and Dad’s reaction to both his height and the fact that his daughter is beginning to date. Some key moments could be how the Daughter seems to introduce the tall guy as her ‘friend’, but when she excitedly hurries to adjust the rear seat to accommodate his tall frame, then hurries around to sit beside him in the back seat, and then scooches over next to him, it’s obvious to Dad that she wants to be more than just a ‘friend’. As Dad adjusts his rear-view mirror to check on them, the Daughter gives him a fun little expression.
