Looking for Kids and Teens for "Shrek the Musical Jr."

Seeking kids and teens to participate in "Shrek the Musical Jr." Please refer to the details provided below. Additional info: Rehearsals will be held in the mornings from Tuesday to Thursday, beginning June 13th and continuing to show week, July 31st. The show opens with an evening performance on Friday, August 4th, matinee and evening shows on Saturday the 5th, and a closing matinee show on Sunday the 6th. The directors are anticipating a high level of interest and turn-out for this production, so please be prepared for a possible wait. The directors will see everyone as quickly as possible, but the directors want to give all of students a chance to show their talents. With that said, please keep your audition to no longer than three minutes in length. If you wish to be considered for a lead role, it is really helpful if the directors hear you sing something from the show. The directors recommend that you familiarize yourself with the story and sing one of the songs your desired character sings. All cast members under the age of 10 need to be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times during rehearsals. If your child is not interested in a lead role, have your child come to the audition with any song of their choosing. It does not have to be from the show. This is a chance for the director to meet the child and for the parent to receive paperwork that will need to be filled out and returned at the first rehearsal. If you are interested please apply.
