"How To Get The Girl" - Voice-Over ProjectUnited StatesID: 543698Exp: 4/30/2023
A replacement scene for Vagabond Digital's upcoming "Scene Showcase 10". Premise: Zack is a hopeless romantic of an 11 year old, who wants nothing more then to find that right gal for him. When he comes across a book called "How To Get The Girl", he sees it as a sign to read from it to try it's many suggestions at getting that right someone, to mostly (negative) comic consequences.
A friendly, outgoing boy, but also very lonely, and a hopeless romantic. He tries various ways to "get the girl" in this scene, which mostly fail. A strong sense of comedic timing and comedy acting chops is encouraged for this, a definite show stealer for our Scene Showcase.
Zack tries to sweet talk her by acting like the famous Golden Age of Hollywood performer Charles Boyer. She is giggly and sweet (To bad she's already taken).
A shy, demure, almost Disney Princess type. She is on her balcony when Zack serenades her with the famous Romeo and Juliet balcony scene.
A somewhat nerdy girl, glasses and all. Zack tries the "bad boy/direct" approach to winning her over. It goes about as well as you would expect. She is NOT afraid to slap someone silly if she is angered.
A rather excitable girl. Zack tosses her a "Secret Admirer" note. Unfortunately for him, the girl thinks it's from her crush named Jason.
The last girl Zack meets. We later find out her name is Stephanie. She is a sweet "girl next door" type, and she and Zack seem to bond almost right away.
